Goalkeeper Camp

  • Friday: 5:30-7:30 p.m.

  • Saturday: 9:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.

  • Sunday: 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Four sessions of goalkeeper training over a three-day period for just $100.

About the Instructor

Don Maples has 30+ years of coaching experience and holds his USSF B License, NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma, and NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma.

He is a sought-after goalkeeper coaching across the country and has served as USSF Region 3 Staff Goalkeeper Coach,  Director of GK for FYSA ODP (Florida), Tennessee ODP Coach, and ASA Staff ODP Coach.

Coach Maples was previously Director of Goalkeeping for the largest club in Florida -- Florida Elite with 23,000 players. He's also coached in the collegiate level as head coach of women's soccer at Montreat College as well in goalkeeper coach in the WPSL and NPSL

Program Description: "The best teacher of soccer is the game itself" Small Side games is a great benefit for all ages. Less numbers on the field means more touches, more activity and engagement, more 1v1 attacking and defending situations, easier tactical understanding and more fun. The goal of the program is to create a competitive environment that the players have freedom to be creative with their play. Game format may change from week to week to keep games exciting for the players.

Program Description: Program is designed to first, increase the player's ability to master the ball and second being able to apply these technical skills into tactical decisions in different realistic game scenarios. The program does this by creating an environment where the player is constantly in and around the ball and is constantly exposed to scenarios that require the use of individual technique and proper decision making to solve this technic/tactical moments of the game with guidance by our coaches.

Program Description: The soccer performance program will help players prepare for the physical demands of the game by building speed, agility, quickness, and power from the ground up using a science-based approach. Our strength program will use a 3 pillar approach to improve the players balance, muscular strength & endurance and maximal force production. We aim to provide a challenging environment for our players each session by introducing them to different modalities such as soccer specific plyometrics to support their speed and power, mechanical drills to sharpen running mechanics and more. We intend to target every physical component that the players need to become more lethal and a more productive athlete in the game.

Richard Dixon is professional soccer player with Chattanooga Football Club. A native of Jamaica, Dixon played college soccer at the University of West Florida and has been played professionally in Tampa, Charlotte, St. Louis, and Oklahoma City. 

Dixon holds a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science from the University of West Florida. He is certified by the National Academy Sports Medicine as a performance enhancement specialist. 


Juan Hernandez has played for Chattanooga FC since 2015, where he has helped CFC win conference and regional titles. In his time with CFC, the team has three NPSL Southeast Conference Championships, two NPSL South Region Championships, an NPSL National Final, and a US Amateur National Championship (2015). 

He also serves as Senior Academy Director for Chattanooga FC Academy.


Dalton Healy is a former NCAA Division 1 soccer standout with the University of Memphis. He earned two state championships as a club player in Tupelo, MS and one with his high school.

Dalton later served on the coaching staff with Mississippi State University. He currently coaches multiple teams with Chattanooga FC Academy.

Liability Waiver (Non-CFCA Walkups)

This waiver is NOT required if you are a current CFC Academy or have registered in advance online. We already have a copy of this waiver for you. This waiver is only necessary for walk-up participants. Please print and bring to your first session.

What to Wear

If you ordered one of the long-sleeve shirts during registration, it will be delivered during the first week of sessions. You are encouraged to wear it for all sessions. This shirt is not required -- if you do not have it, please wear your CFC Academy warmup jacket or a sweatshirt in CFC colors.
