Chattanooga FC Academy is pleased to announce the addition of Erin Lycan Ridley as Director of Goalkeeping.
Ridley is currently the head coach of the CFC Women's team and assistant head coach for the Baylor School boys varsity team. Prior to moving to Chattanooga, she served as assistant coach at George Washington University, where she led her team to 2015 Regular Season A10 Champions, undefeated and untied in A10 conference play (10-0), setting the longest win streak in the nation (13 wins in a row), and setting the program record of 12 shutouts.
Ridley has previously coached at Stephen F. Austin State University (‘06-‘08)—2007 SLC Regular Season and Tournament Champions, Davidson College (‘08-‘11)—2009 SoCon Tournament Champions and first NCAA appearance in program history, and Virginia Tech (‘11-‘15)—NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance, set record for most shutouts in a season, first NCAA home-bid in program history, fewest losses in a season, final national ranking #4, first ever appearance in the Final Four, best record in program history (19-5-3).
She played for the University of Virginia (‘01-‘05), as well as the W-League Memphis Mercury (‘02) and Hampton Roads Piranhas (’03). Ridley holds a USSF “B” License, a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, and a NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma.

Goalkeepers and potential goalkeepers, male and female, will have the opportunity to work with Erin Lycan Ridley at no additional charge in the fall as part of the club's Supplemental Training program.
