Some of the youngest Chattanooga FC Academy players are featured in a new video going viral all over the world. The video was produced on the Baylor School campus for the Positive Coaching Alliance organization.

It is all part of a campaign to help parents give their child the edge in competitive sports. The edge may not be what you're thinking. The video points out that "cutting-edge parents today are going all in on backing off. Sometimes the best thing you can do is just chill."

Today some 70% of U.S. children quit sports by age 13, often due to parental pressure. Once those kids quit, they miss out on all the important life lessons and health benefits that sports have to offer.

Studies actually show kids play sports later in life when their parents #DareToChill. That is the hashtag for the movement. We all know learning to chill is not that easy. Most of the time we are in denial because we can always think of someone worse than us.

Watch and join the #DareToChill movement.

The video launched September 29, has been viewed more than a quarter million times, and shared more than 3,000 times. What began as a statewide effort in Colorado quickly went global.

Local company Fancy Rhino helped created the video and made a charitable contribution to Chattanooga FC Academy. We thank them for supporting soccer in Chattanooga.
