We are delighted to highlight Olivia Newton as our March Athlete of the Month!
Newton is a dedicated student who likes to be challenged academically and in her extra-curricular activities. She continues to be involved in many advanced AP courses as she prepares for college, and she excels in band, having been named All-State East on the flute this year. With a 3.9 GPA, it's clear how hard Newton is working in school.
Newton's coach and father, Bobby Newton, said: "She shows great CFC character and spirit in her interactions with her teammates as she is always supporting them in a positive way and sharing encouragement when needed. She also shows great sportsmanship towards all soccer players even in the intensity of competition."
Newton also gives her time to the soccer community any chance she can as a referee for the younger players as well as volunteering to help recreational coaches and administrators with special clinics and training sessions.
Everyone at Chattanooga Football Club celebrates Newton and the great ambassador she is for CFC soccer and the CFC family as a whole.
