CHATTANOOGA FC ACADEMY AND THE SOCCER PARENTING ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP PROVIDING SUPPORT AND EDUCATION TO YOUTH SOCCER PARENTS

Chattanooga, TN, AUGUST 9, 2021 - Chattanooga FC Academy and the Soccer Parenting Association today announce a partnership agreement by which all families associated with Chattanooga FC Academy will now receive free access to the educational content on the SoccerParentResourceCenter.com and TheSidelineProject.com platform.

The Soccer Parent Resource Center seeks to improve and enhance the experience for youth soccer players by engaging and supporting the players’ parents on topics related to the Body, Mind, Coach, Parent, Next Level, and the Game as well as providing coach education related to establishing positive relationships with players and parents.

Chattanooga FC Academy, celebrating its 10th consecutive season, serves more than 600 families in at least 10 counties from more than 100 public and private schools.

Soccer Parenting Association was founded by former professional player and NCAA Final Four standout Skye Eddy. It serves more than 16,000 parents from some of the most respected soccer clubs across the U.S. The partnership in Chattanooga includes outreach and education through TheSidelineProject.com about improving sideline communication and behavior by spectators.

“The investment Chattanooga FC Academy is making towards positively affecting the lives of the players and families associated with their club is commendable.  We are proud to work with them and are encouraged by their commitment to make a positive impact in their community through sport,” said Skye Eddy, Founder of the Soccer Parenting Association.

“We believe parents can be difference-makers when it comes to improving the game,” added CFC Academy Director of Coaching Steve Hirayama. “A more collaborative environment between coach, parent, club and player is in the best interest of player development.”
